Privacy Policy

Shadowrocket Guide - Official Manual is the official website and manual for Shadowrocket. This policy explains how data is handled when you visit this site, including its documentation, tutorials, and changelog pages. For data handling within the Shadowrocket app and App Store purchases, consult the privacy information provided by the app and the store, respectively.
1. Scope and information you submit
This site provides content through static pages and has no registration, sign-in, or email collection forms. You can read the manual without submitting your name, phone number, Apple Account details, or payment information. This site does not receive app purchase orders.
Instructions for importing subscriptions and configuring the app assume that you already have your own subscription or server details. All related steps take place on your device and in the app. Do not enter subscription URLs, passwords, or configuration credentials in this site's page addresses, search parameters, or publicly accessible content. This site does not provide proxy nodes. A one-time app purchase is not a service subscription; check app purchases and connection services separately.
2. Access logs and analytics
When your browser requests a page, hosting and network infrastructure may process technical logs such as your IP address, access time, requested path, response status, browser type, and referring page. This information is used to deliver pages, diagnose issues, and maintain operational security. How long it is retained and how it is stored depend on the deployment configuration.
This site uses analytics to understand page readership, device categories, and how visitors use on-site navigation. These insights help us refine tutorial structure, find broken links, and improve reading on narrow screens. When you click the App Store button on the Get the App page, the click event may be recorded to measure use of that link. It does not confirm whether a purchase was completed.
Analytics records are not the same as personal identity information, though technical identifiers may still be identifiable. This site does not ask analytics systems to collect subscription credentials or payment information, and browsing the manual does not give this site access to server lists, connection content, or Data records within Shadowrocket.
3. Cookies and local storage
Depending on the deployment, analytics may use cookies or other browser identifiers to distinguish sessions and repeat visits. Whether they are set, how long they remain valid, and their specific names depend on the analytics configuration loaded by the page and your browser records. This site does not use analytics identifiers as proof of purchase authorization.
If local storage is used for language selection or page preferences, it is only to improve your reading experience in the browser. Temporary interface states, such as expanded menus or collapsed FAQs, do not require you to provide personal information or create an account.
You can view or delete this site's cookies and website data, or restrict them, in your browser settings. Restricting analytics identifiers may affect the completeness of analytics; after clearing local preferences, you may need to set your choices again. Clearing browser data does not erase server access logs that have already been generated.
4. External App Store links
The only way to get Shadowrocket is through the App Store product page (opens in a new window). Apple operates that page. Any account verification, payments, purchase history, and store cookies involved in visiting it are handled by Apple under its terms and privacy policy.
This site provides a link and guidance for verifying the genuine app. It does not collect app payments or access your Apple Account password, payment card details, or App Store purchase history. After following an external link, review the destination's privacy information. Your browser may send referral information when navigating to another site. Check the App Store page for compatibility and system requirements.
5. Policy updates and review
If site features or data handling practices change, this policy will be updated at this URL and the last-updated month at the top of the page will be revised. Changes involving new collection purposes or browser storage uses should be explained in the updated terms. Review them before using the relevant features.
This policy's description of access logs applies only to this site and does not replace the privacy policies for the app, Apple, or any connection service you use. For questions about using the app, see the tutorial steps and troubleshooting guide. For purchase and restore-purchase questions, see the Getting the App guide. These pages are for reference and are not channels for submitting personal information.
